Whatʼs new?
Choose your plan based on your use case – Individual or Business
Weʼve simplified our model to make it easier to build a plan thatʼs right for you. Each plan comes with:
- Credits (previously called messages) for pulling data and using the platform.
- Tokens to connect your app or project with your subscription.
- User logins for more teammates to join your account and use its data.
- Other features and services, including free access to
Cloud Cache. Cloud Cache saves you credits by automatically storing the data youʼve already pulled from the API, so you donʼt pay for the same data twice.
Scale your plan using packages.
Packages allow you to add credits, tokens, and users logins to your account. Packages are replacements for “overages.” Instead of paying overages on our new plans, youʼll either add packages to your existing plan or choose to upgrade. If you have a legacy plan, packages do not apply to you. Learn more about packages.
Use Premium Data credits to purchase Premium Data
On our new plans, youʼll only use Premium Data credits to purchase Premium Data. On our legacy Launch, Grow, and Scale plans, youʼll continue to have the option of using pay-as-you-go credits (pay-as-you-go messages) or Premium Data credits.
We changed “messages” to “credits.”
IEX Cloud credits work the same way as messages – we only changed the name to make their definition and usage clearer to users.
Get free access to Cloud Cache – our fully managed caching service.
Both the Individual and Business plan include free access to Cloud Cache. Cloud Cache saves you credits and development effort by automatically storing the data youʼve already pulled from the API, so you donʼt pay for the same data twice.
With our Individual and Business plan, Cloud Cache will be automatically enabled for your API calls – no setup, additional costs, or extra steps required. Note that Cloud Cache will no longer be available for purchase with our legacy Launch, Grow, and Scale plans after February 16.
Whatʼs staying the same?
We still offer our same free Start plan.
Use our Start plan for testing, experimenting, and just getting started with the platform.
You can continue to choose between monthly and annual billing.
You still have the option of saving up to 52% on your plan by paying annually, or the flexibility of paying month-to-month.
Our plans still use credits (previously known as messages).
Credits are still the fundamental units for accessing data and using features.
Your current plan wonʼt change.
If you currently use a legacy Launch, Grow, or Scale plan, your billing, feature and dataset access, overages, and payment for Premium Data will not change.
